Unfortunately, applets can't be printed out directly, but this document gives you instructions on how to be able to print and or copy the images of the applets. It depends on what computer you are using.
To print from an applet involves doing a screen capture, pasting it into
a paint program, and then printing it from there.
Here are the instructions to do this using Windows on a PC:
And here are the instructions to do it on a MAC computer:If you have an old system (I think MacOS 7X or earlier), it is a simple 3 key stroke. Press COMMAND + SHIFT + 3 and a SimpleText file is dumped onto your hard drive (not the desktop). This also works on higher systems too, but the other method, described below, provides more control.
For more recent systems (I think MacOS 8X or later) you use COMMAND + SHIFT + 4. With these 3 key strokes you will get a crosshairs cursor and you "select" the part of the screen that you want. Once you have selected and let go, the SimpleText file is dumped on your hard drive. If you hold the Control key down as you release the mouse the picture is taken but placed on the clipboard instead of creating a picture file. You can do this if you plan to only paste the picture once.
The file names placed on the hard drive get called Picture 1 (or 2 or 3... as it numbers the files sequentially).
Once you have made the Simple Text file, open it and print it, or open it, select the part that you want, copy/paste it into another program and print it.
General Comments:
If you have any comments or different ways of doing this, please feel free to let me know.
Good luck!
